I rtied to charge it my phone keeps saying battery disconnected?

"Do i need to buy a new phone it doesnt do it with any..."

I am also having the same problem is there anyway I can fix this or... do I need to buy a new phone it doesnt do it with any other charger, but the battery dies...when its on that charger... What do I do?

Someone said: Thought I would never get the back off the phone. Took battery out, immediately put it back in and plugged in the charger. Stated charging immediately...no error sign "wrong battery." Solved the problem. Thanks to everyone posting on this...really appreciate it.

Why does my lg rumor touch battery is required to charge the phone?

I was having the exact same problem and figured the battery or phone was hopeless because I`ve seen so many negative comments and no solutions. BUT, I kept messing with it and eventually I removed the battery and plugged the charger into the phone WHILE THE BATTERY WAS STILL OUT. Once I put the battery in with current already flowing, somehow, the phone started right up and started charging normally. Not sure if it`ll work for every phone but somehow that did the trick for me and I`d been messing around with my phone all day with no luck.
