Hi i have i Blackberry 8520 and i have that messenger on my phone but when i add a contact it just shows pending is there anything that i need to do in order for it work please ppl i need to know why its not working please

You'll have to call your carrier and ask them what kind of internet-package you really have! Mostly they'll be abled to put you onto a BB-suitable internet package with no or little cost! That's all...once you have the BB-suitable package, everything becomes childs-play!!!

They sent me the right settings for my phone, and in two minutes, all my issues were solved. There's a different settings for a prepaid and a postpaid line. All I have to do is pay an extra $15 on top of my monthly bill to fully enjoy Bb services, and top up my prepaid line $5 per week since I am using two Bbs.

Someone said: Also try this. From your Bb Home Screen, go to Options -> Advanced Options -> TCP/IP then enable APN. What to put in there? Ask your service providers. But it does not end there. You will still be required to avail of Bb services with additional charge. That's how it works. If you think there's still other way to make it work, best of luck to you! :-)

Will the iphone sim card work in a blackberry and will blackberry messenger work?

Hi George12345 If you`ve got an iPhone 4 and a Micro Sim, you might need to get an adaptor to get the SIM to stay in place in the BlackBerry phone. For BlackBerry Messenger and emails to work you`ll need to have the BlackBerry Services included and activated on your priceplan and SIM card. Contact your network provider and they can check this for you and add it on if you need it. Hope this helps, Helen_Vodafone

If you are sending a text message from your BlackBerry phone to another GSM phone then it will cost you. If you are sending a text message from your BlackBerry phone to another BlackBerry phone then it is free of cost.
