Someone said: The first part of your answer worked like a charm. I initially thought it was a hardware error, like the button being stuck or some component being fried, because I dropped the phone a few times, but it seems the issue was software related, which was resolved by dropping the battery as you suggested. Thank a million.

Someone said: Thanks for posting the tips of how to fix the tract pad on my blackberry. It worked perfecty. I took to the local wireless phone shop, they gave me a story that they needed to Fedex the part and wanted to charge me $75.00. I was desperate to get my phone fixed (after spending almost an hour talking T-mobile's IT people...still did not work) so I told t guy to go ahead. He gave me a run around saying that the part was not in but in reality he is just stalling time and made it sounded like he is waiting for the part. So I told him to give me my phone back. Nowmy phone is working again....Many Thanks
