Buily in wifi is any gadget or device which has the ability to connect wirelessly.Incase if your gadget is wirlessly enable u can connect to any wifi spot however u need the wireless key if it show a lock symbol or it says security enabled network.and if u are trying to get a wirless device make sure it is on the wpa encryption not on wep

 Someone said: Okay just did this myself so it does work!:  From main screen goto WiFI config, in the window for woreless info make sure you have notify new wireless checked, highlight add new then click advanced. In advanced have have windows config wireless and auto connect checked and access to all available. GGo ahead and delete any wifi spots here and start back in add new. Now when your wireless picks up a signal you should clik connect then if you have you need to put in a network key make sure that the box saying "key provided automatcally is checked off, authentication is on open or shared depeneding on your provider so you can put in your password. check box for (ad hoc) is off then click OK! This should make your wireless work it does mine!

You can go to any location that has free WiFi, and do this (such as a Barnes and noble, Starbucks or even McDonald's).  You would also need WiFi in order to download books to the device, however you do not need a connection in order to read them once they are on there.  There is no nookcolor with 3g capabilities.  The original nook (the black and white eink screen)  does have 3g, so you are able to download books from anywhere.

You need a passkey for surfing net on your phone through Wi-Fi. Once you configure the pass key you don`t need to do it next time. So, make sure you have the router connected and you have the passkey. The Wi-Fi strength of Samsung ch@t 335 is quite strong.

I have the same issue. It's do to no product testing by samsung.
This is due to the wifi, having been manualy turned off to many times. Which corrupts the program it's self. 
Been to a corp. Metro PCS store 4 times now, 2x over this, and each time mainly for the power-cycling issues[random on off, and charging when unpluged].
Toss the phone and buy a new one. Other than installing a new os on the phone, it's unfixable.

You can surf the internet on myphone qt7 through the internet service (which is built-in) or you may download opera mini (i suggest version 6.0) and of course, should activate your sim for gprs access..i also have the trick to surf for free :) but i will tell it on a video that i`m going to upload on youtube SOON..just search for its keyword - myphone qt7 free internet.......see you there guys :)
