How do i transfer photos from my galaxy s to my computer?

After you plug your phone usb into your computer, on your phone, drag down to expand that top bar thingy (like when you see new notifications). It should ask you if you want to `mount` your phone to your pc. Select Mount. Afterwards, when you go to your computer, it should look like an external usb device. and you can try going to computer/Removable disk/DCIM/Camera to see your photos

1)Get hold of your phone. Then go into 'Settings' > "Connect to pc'> ''Default connection type">and select third option called "Disk Drive"

2)Connect your phone through USB to your computer. Your PC will now detect your phone's memory as external drive.

 Someone said: For those of you who couldn't get it to work on your mac, here's what I did:
1. Connect Droid USB cable into computer's USB slot
2. Drag down top bar on droid (the same bar that shows that battery life)
3. It says USB connection, select to manage your USB connection
4. Select Windows Media Share
Your itunes and iphoto should pop up and you can choose what you want to share.

However, instead (once I had expanded the top pull-down bar thingy) I had to activate the USB Mass Storage option.  It works a treat now and I have transferred my photos to my mac, but I would have never got there without this original post :)

 nixneon said: what you have to do is first of all go to this website http://dailysoft.bluesquad.revenuewire.net/stell ar-photo/download Install it and dont worry 100% legit after you have done that go into your phone go App drawer-> settings -> Wireless and Network -> USB Utilities -> choose Mass Storage then plug usb cable into device once done let the computer install whatever drivers it wants, then when done on your phone press connect usb storage. Once that is done load up the photo recovery you just installed then click start and follow the prompts, this can take any where between 30min and a few hours depending on how many photos have been on the phone, also it shows you all the photos and videos it is restoring as it does it. Hope this helps it certainly worked for me (:

getting the phone connected wasn`t too hard but where do you find the folder for the phone on the computer? There is nothing in "my comuter" or a DCIM folder anywhere I can see. I`m trying to get my photos off a mytouch slide. Either no one knows or the one or two who do don`t give enough details to help a noob.

 Someone said: If your sd was in a different phone like mine was in a samsung hue the folder names recognized a different I had to move pictures from the samsung folder on my card called my-images to my pictures on the lg and then it recognized them. It creates the new folders for the new phone when you install it but doesn't move them to it or recognize the old folders!
