Someone said: IF you can find this web site then you should know how to google and find military pay charts.
Someone said: I understand military works hard..but you also gotta pay your child support..so why be so cruel to someone who is just asking a simple question? I've dealt with my ignorant ex, who is active military, and owes 8,000 in child support, due to being lazy and selfish. The money is for kids..not adults..so why take out your frustrations on someone who is innocent. Military gets special treatment..which is highly unfair, he has yet to go to jail for being so far back..just because he is military...it's not fair to the adult paying FOR EVERYTHING..and def not fair to the kids!
Someone said: I am sorry you are having to go through this, I know it must be hard being a single parent and not receiving any kind of support, if you have court documents saying he is supposed to be paying child support, you need to take that to social services and turn him in and they will make him pay.
Someone said: you are grown people grow up
Someone said: google brings me straight to this web site so how much is the pay
Someone said: Because the child support system is unfair, there is no reason a guy should have to pay 55 percent of everything he makes for child support, and the reason he is behind is because the system sets it up so that he will be behind, and by the way when I was in Iraq the friend of the court stole meore than 7 thousand dollars from my kids, so you need to make sure that what is coming out of his check is what you are being paid before you go accusing him.
Someone said: contact his unit commander if you do not receive the interest you think you deserve contact the provost mashal. If the baby daddy or momma is in the service and they owe you court orderd child support you are entitled to BAQ. They will award him or her with BAQ then send it to you.
Someone said: a deplyed e-6 makes the same as any other e-6 if he is deployed to a combat zone he will receive hazardous duty pay not sure what current rate is but when I was in it was 110 bucks a month.
Someone said: Do these guys get paid more then other soldiers who don't owe child support?
Someone said: I'm german and married to a soldier. I list a couple of options on how to approach this situation : If you go to the Jugendamt with your court order for child support they should be able to help you out (you need his SSN and duty station, thats how it is if he is stationed in europe but maybe they can help you anyways ). If not, then find a lawyer who is familiar with german american laws (if you can't pay for it apply for Amenrecht ) http://www.anwalt.de/moellinger-tiefenbacher, is a german lawyer, she should be able to help you. I'm sure this will work. you can also contact the American Consulate in Frankfurt.I'm sure they'll help you and send you to the right place..The last option is, If you know where he lives, you could contact the child support office and ask how to approach the situation. Hope this helped....Good Luck to you.
Someone said: one more thing, if you can find out his unit and contact his command, usually this helps make them pay at least the current amount owed....
Someone said: for all lazy spouses out there, why don't you get off your butt and get a job and support your self by yourself, and for the kids, they are your kids if you have custody of them, stop scamming and support your self, move on with your life and stop looking for ways how to get money without working for it, you already figured out the food stamps and all the goodies that any state offer. enough is enough
Someone said: BY THE WAY....TO THE WRITER....SHE ASKED HOW LONG AFTER SHE LEFT FOR TRAINING WOULD HER HUSBAND GET IT!!!!! SHE WAS THINKING OF HER FAMILY!!
Someone said: Woman like you, give all us Army wives bad names. You should be ashamed of yourself to even ask something like that. Instead of blowing his "extra" money that he is risking his life for, why don't you save it. Makes me sick to see wives like you worried more about how much your husband will make while deployed, rather than worring about his well being. You will be one of those wives that won't be a military wife for long. I have earned the right to say that because I have been a military spouse for 15 years and 5 deployments later. Unlike you, I would much rather have my husband home than worry about how much money he will be making when he gets deployed. Here's an idea get an education, get a job, stop depending on your husband, and the Army. It wouldn't surprise me if you are one of those Army wives that weigh 200 pounds because all you do is sit home, play on the net, and watch TV.
Someone said: To the poster who said their ex is in the military and owes child support. That is your own fault! If you have a court order saying he owes you child support and the amount he is to pay every month, then the military can garnish his wages and you will receive it automatically. So, either you haven't pushed the issue with the righth people or your a liar.
Someone said: I have read all these posts and I have a question. I'm a father with 2 kids 9 years old and 13 years old, my ex decided to join the AF reserves. I pay her child support and now I have custody of my kids because she's went to basic and now tech school. She is now collecting BAH and keeping my child support money and refuses to give me back my child support. I have contacted her command and have heard from her attorney stating they are working on a settlement. I have filed the proper paperwork in court but still waiting. In the mean time the 457 dollars I pay her could be used to help take care of my kids, but she refuses to return it. She lives with her mom so no rent payment, she does have another 18 year old daughter and according to her that is where the money is going and to a household that she doesn't have.
Someone said: The soldiers and Sailors act is keeping my court case from going through. How does the military allow this to happen? It wasn't that way before? sorry hit reply before I typed the question
Someone said: These people are just asking a question and whoever has to have a comment about the person that is sitting around not doing anything trying to get money you know what they may have custody but the other person was just as much a part of making those kids and should have just have just as much resposibility in taking care of them. and before you go blowing off at the mouth you dont know if they have a job or not but it is expensive to take care of kids on your own so you need to shut up and not say anything about stuff you know nothing about.
Someone said: what does this have to do with how much you earn in a year in the army?
Someone said: Dont assume a person is unemployed for asking a question like that you ignorant assholes. I am in the same situation, with the same questions. When my soldier goes overseas i still have to work full time and now I am LOSING his income. Befor he goes away for over a year I need to know what i can expect to keep this family supported. Just because he leaves dosent mean that kids dont need clothes and food, and the mortgage and utilities, car payments insurance, don't have to be paied, and life just stops when they are gone. IT DOSENT JUST STOP. It goes on, and the bills keep comming. Losing an income is a BIG DEAL to some people. I hope the person who orginally answered this post goes straight to hell.
lenoresden said: The above poster is right. you people are ignorent assholes including the army wife women like YOU give us Army wives a bad name. An e-6 soldiers pay depends on how many years they have been in service. An e-6 with less that 2 years makes 2281.20, an e-6 with over 18 years of service makes 3533.40. if they are active duty (taken directly from the paychart.) so depending on the years of service its somewhere inbetween.
