How do i turn off rotation lock on ipod?

If you have ios 4.xx, when you double click the home button you will see what apps are running in the background. Scroll left through those icons, and it will give you two icons and some music controls, all you have to do is tap the grey icon on the left (the one with the circular arrow on it).... This either locks, or unlocks the screen rotation lock, as well as removing the corresponding status bar icon. Hope this helps.

If you have locked your iphone and also forgot the screen lock code then you should reset the iphone. i am sure that this will solve your problem but if the problem persists then you can call the apple customer services and they will provide you help in unlocking the forgotten code. Bill.Gagnon

Power on phone go to activation screen , volume up, volume down, back button, search button. once activation is complete turn the device back on press ##52862454856 then press send. the vortex demo icon will show up on the main screen.

The answer of this question is very simple.to remove rotaion lock u just have to press twice home button,u will get 3 icons.1st icon will be for roation lock.2nd one is for play/pause and last one is for ipod. to enable or disable rotation lock u just have to click on 1st button.thts it. Press the home button twice, then on the bottom of thr screen scroll to your left and press the icon on the far right with the arrow going circular. this shoud work, cuz it did on my iphone :)
