In google chrome.. go to tools.. extensions and there.. you`ll see the button uninstall or disable.. with the corresponding applications.

( MINE WAS CALLED FACEBOOK PLUG IN) 
I DISABLED IT
REFRESHED MY PAGE
AND TAAAADAAAAAA.... GONE.. YAY!

then go to the tool icon on the right hand cornor of the tab

choose options

then click extensions 

from there find the Facebook add-onn and click uninstall
