Just call yourself...leave a message, then check your voicemail again and delete the message...the icon will then disappear

first install home switcher and launcher pro which are available in the market.. install both and then launch launcher pro as your home.. then go to settings applications manage apps then select samsung home clear data and force stop.. after this launch samsung home again... u r done..

I have the same problem and it is draining my battery. I tried to send an email with a bunch of large photos the other day and not only will it not complete the send process but it automaticall keeps trying and is killing my battery.

 Someone said: Just had the exact same problem after sending email with lots of photos... Fixed it by going into my email account, selecting "labels" from my options menu, selecting outbox, found the email that was still "sending" and then deleted it. Fixed the issue immediately. Hope this helps!!!
