You need to get a dual Lnb bell dish and 2 sw21 switches or 1 sw44 switch. 4 cables must come off the 2 lnbf into the switch. Then run 2 cables from the switch to your 9241 Bell Tv Satellite receiver. Run a check switch from your menu option 6-1-1 and make sure all the satellites are found. You should also set your Bell HD receiver to HDTV setting 1080p. The broadcast may only be in 720p but your tv will adjust the pixels accordingly.

You need 1 sw21 switch for 1 hd bell satellite receiver unless you have the 9000 series HD PVR. The HD pvr requires 2 cables from the Bell Dish, so you would need 2 sw21. If you have a 6000 series HD Bell Tv receiver, then you simply run a short cable off the 82 satellite Lnb and another short cable of the 91 Lnb (doesn`t matter which spigot on lnb) into dish1 and dish2 port on the sw21 then run a cable from the output on the sw21 to the satellite in port on your Satellite box. Hit menu then 6-1-1 and run a check switch to make sure you are getting reception on both satellites.

Firstly if your existing HD Receiver is an older Single Tuner model, the 6100 etc, you will need a second INPUT to connect to the Tuner #2 port at the rear of the 9242, this is because the 9242 is a Dual Tuner receiver. Now, to set the TV2. Connect a coax, RG6 is preferred, to the TV2 output port. Connect the other end of this coax to the Input on the second TV. The default is for the signal to be sent on Channel 60. If you tune into Ch60 on this second TV, the picture should be there. To watch different programming, you need to ensure that the receiver is in Dual Mode. The Mode button is located behind the Door on the front of the receiver.
