Someone said: Person earlier is right, you need to completely turn off your phone for a couple of mins and when you turn it back on you will get a message from blackberry saying that registration was successful. Then you are up and running :)

Someone said: This also happened to me a few times, the way i got round this was by telling Orange to look into your phone account (which is possible on pay as you go) to check when you last topped up. They will tell you the date and once you know the date and it is correct demand some action to take place. You do this in a polite manor so they dont just cut you of the phone and if you still do not get it then you say your friends and family are on orange blah blah blah and you will tell them to leave Orange if not refunded. This gets Orange worried obviously because they will be loosing out on money. Some say they dont mind because others are using it, But them doing this is illegal and i got Orange into court and they gave me a contract phone that lasted 12 months and then gave me the first 3 months free. All the best.

Hi i have i Blackberry 8520 and i have that messenger on my phone but when i add a contact it just shows pending is there anything that i need to do in order for it work please ppl i need to know why its not working please

Someone said: when BBM isn't working and add-request hang on "pending"...most likely you have a subscription with internet-services that doesn't support the BBspecific PING-function. You'll have to call your carrier and ask them what kind of internet-package you really have! Mostly they'll be abled to put you onto a BB-suitable internet package with no or little cost! That's all...once you have the BB-suitable package, everything becomes childs-play!!!

Someone said: I had same issues with my Bb Curve. Basically, nothing helps but contacting your service providers directly. Here's what I got. They sent me the right settings for my phone, and in two minutes, all my issues were solved. There's a different settings for a prepaid and a postpaid line. All I have to do is pay an extra $15 on top of my monthly bill to fully enjoy Bb services, and top up my prepaid line $5 per week since I am using two Bbs.

Someone said: Also try this. From your Bb Home Screen, go to Options -> Advanced Options -> TCP/IP then enable APN. What to put in there? Ask your service providers. But it does not end there. You will still be required to avail of Bb services with additional charge. That's how it works. If you think there's still other way to make it work, best of luck to you! :-)

Go to "download" option in the main menu. Under this the "contact" option is available, where you can add, delete, manage the Contact List.

Go to Home screen, menu key, then select show all (maybe it was hidden) Now check if th icon you lost is back on the home screen

Can i buy a blackberry phone off ebay then use my orange contract sim card in the blackberry and still use blackberry messenger? or do i have to get u?

i-dzxh said: hi yes u can, i baught one n put my orange contract sim in it n it works fine, all u gotta do is call orange n tellem u now r using a bb n they will set the bbm up for u :) xx
