When I turn my tv on it flicks in and out of picture with half the screen going black and it makes a pop sound when it does go black. After its been o My samsung 51 inch tv turns on the screen just goes black and does nothing.. My samsung 51 inch tv turns on the screen just goes black and does nothing but it is still on due to the standby light flickers when i press a button on the control.

"Mine did the same thing..."

Mine did the same thing, if you take it apart so you can see the motherboard and electronics, there are four little switches that are slightly hard to find and they will be all flipped to one side that has an astric symbol (*) and the other side will say "on" i flipped all the switches to the on side and my tv has worked ever since.

If you are facing this issue with your TV then I suppose you should call to tv technician and get it fixed may be there is some issue with your picture tube in your tv
>if your tv has option to reset it or to update your software then you could also give a try to that.

source: My hd tv has lost the picture, if i turn on i see the picture but then it makes a fuzzy sound and i lose the picture this happens every time?

Switch off all devices connected to the system and disconnect all power sources for at least 5 minutes. Reboot. If this fails, repeat. In most cases, your problem is solved.

That is very odd. All I can tell you to do is go to the Apple Store and get it replaced or fixed. Hope it helps.

Have you tried a hair dryer? i had the same problem and it just needed a good drying out?

You need a new t.v. yours warranty is out-of-date.
