What does box and arrow mean in iphone email?

When viewing an email on the iPhone, the symbol of a box with an arrow pointing to it at the bottom of the screen is the "Archive" button. Archived emails can be difficult, or impossible, to retrieve from the mail browser. To avoid unwanted archival of emails, go to the Mail settings and tell it to ask first before deleting emails.

The arrow means that you`re responsible for the most recent correspondence in the message thread. I`ve you`ve written a message and received no response, there will be an arrow by the message in your sent box. If you`ve written a message and received a response, but have not answered the response, there will be no arrow by either your sent message or by their response. If you`ve received a message and have responded, there will be an arrow by both the original message from the sender and by your response. If you`ve received a message and haven`t responded, there will be no arrow by the original message. Make sense? It`s a way to let you know that it`s not your turn to write. If there`s no arrow... you`d better get crackin`!!

Why does my utorrent download have a red arrow next to it?

You wont have to worry about that, coz that means a simple tracker error. You may or may not be able to download that torrent; may be fast or slow, it could mean that the host may be down. Take a look here http://www.utorrent.com/FAQ and you`ll be more satisfied.

What does box and arrow mean in iphone email?

You can easily retrieve archived email from the "All Mail" box in Gmail. It will give you literally all your mail and you can move it back to your inbox from there. While using email on the phone tap on the file folder, tap all mail, and there you go.
