I am not sure how this happened. If this is only an problem with text processing software such as Microsoft Word, then on the upper left corner you have an option to change font and color of your text.

If not, then its probably caused by an virus. No usual setting will make your text blue, by any means. Do an full system scan with antivirus you have at the moment.

Follow button is used for the people who you want to keep updated from even if you aren`t friends with him, it is like having a fan for a certain people that you don`t know and you want to know more of himself.
